The upcoming Annual Meeting of the American Musicological Society, taking place online on 11–12 and 20–21 November, will include a professional development roundtable session: “Can the White Page be Overwritten?: Race and Representation in Critical Editions.” The session will take place on 21 November from 11:00 AM to 12:50 PM and can be found in the online program here.
An impressive lineup of speakers will be contributing their experience and wisdom, including Tammy Kernodle (Miami University; President, Society for American Music), Mark Clague (University of Michigan; Editor-in-Chief, Music of the United States of America series), Samantha Ege (Lord Crewe Junior Research Fellow, Lincoln College, Oxford), Melanie Zeck (Library of Congress, American Folklife Center), and A. Kori Hill (University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill). A-R Editions’ own Alexander Dean will serve as the moderator.
