This edition makes available for the first time a selection of twenty-four introits for the church year from one of the largest and most important musical sources of the sixteenth-century Lutheran Reformation. Thomas Stolzer is prominently represented with fourteen introits, most of them unique to this source. Other composers include Ludwig Senfl, Heinrich Isaac, and Conrad Rein.
